Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Scroll World, the website at scrollworld.ai, and all related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by KB Lynx Pte Ltd ("Scroll World", "we", "us"). By creating an account, generating content, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Ethics & Acceptable Use Policy, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Scroll World transforms stories you provide into animated, scrollable web pages ("Scroll Worlds") using artificial intelligence services, including large language models for storyboarding and scripting, generative video services for scene visuals, and synthetic voice services for narration. You acknowledge that Scroll Worlds are AI-generated content: outputs are probabilistic, may contain inaccuracies or artifacts, may vary between generations, and are not reviewed by humans before delivery except as described in our moderation processes.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. The Service is designed for adults (such as parents, educators, trainers, and creators) who may create content intended for younger audiences; minors may view shared Scroll Worlds but may not create accounts or generate content.

Authentication is passwordless. You may sign in using a one-time email link, Google, or Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email account and any linked sign-in provider, and for all activity occurring under your Scroll World account. Notify us at hello@kb-lynx.com immediately of any unauthorized use. We may suspend accounts to protect you or the Service.

3. One Anonymous Trial

We may permit one Scroll World generation without an account. Trial results are partially withheld until you register. Trial generations are subject to these Terms and the Ethics & Acceptable Use Policy in full. We use device and network signals to enforce the one-trial limit, as described in the Privacy Policy. Trial content that is unclaimed may be deleted after 30 days.

4. Your Content and Ownership

"Input" means the stories, prompts, brainstorming messages, and settings you submit. "Output" means the storyboard, script, narration audio, video scenes, and assembled Scroll World page generated for you.

You retain all rights you hold in your Input. As between you and Scroll World, and to the extent permitted by law and by our third-party AI providers' terms, we assign to you our rights in the Output generated for your account. You are responsible for your use of Output, including verifying its accuracy and suitability for your audience. You acknowledge that AI-generated material may not be protectable by copyright in some jurisdictions and that similar or identical outputs may be generated for other users.

You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, and display your Input and Output as necessary to (a) operate the Service, (b) generate and serve your Scroll Worlds, including to viewers of pages you share, and (c) comply with law. If you enable sharing, you additionally grant viewers the right to view and interact with the shared page. We do not use your private Input or Output to train our own models; our third-party AI providers process your content under their own terms as described in the Privacy Policy.

You represent and warrant that you have all rights needed to submit your Input, and that your Input and intended use of Output do not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.

5. Acceptable Use

Your use of the Service is governed by the Ethics & Acceptable Use Policy. In summary, you must not submit or generate content that is unlawful, sexually explicit, hateful, violent, harassing, deceptive, infringing, or inappropriate for the audience you designate. All Input is screened by automated moderation before generation; we may decline to generate, remove, deactivate, or unpublish any Scroll World, and may suspend or terminate accounts, for violations. Moderation decisions may be automated.

6. Sharing, Views, Ratings and Analytics

Each Scroll World receives a unique link that you may share publicly. You control whether each Scroll World is active; deactivated Scroll Worlds are not viewable by others. Shared pages display a "Made with Scroll World" attribution which may not be removed on standard plans.

We count views (one unique visitor per Scroll World per day) and collect anonymized interaction analytics (such as scroll depth and time-on-section) to provide you with statistics. Viewers may submit star ratings. You must not artificially inflate views or ratings, including through bots, scripts, or coordinated manipulation.

7. Plans, Payment and Billing

Paid subscriptions are offered as Premium (10 Scroll World generations and 1,000 aggregate views per monthly billing cycle) and Pro (30 generations and 5,000 views per cycle). Generation counts are consumed on successful generation; failed generations are not counted. Unused quota does not roll over. When your aggregate views reach your plan limit, your shared pages are unavailable to viewers until your next billing cycle begins or you upgrade.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges to your payment method at the then-current price until you cancel. Your billing cycle renews upon successful payment. You may cancel at any time from your billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you retain plan benefits until then. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable, including for partial periods or unused quota. If a renewal payment fails, we may retry, notify you, and after a grace period suspend paid features and downgrade the account. We may change prices or plan limits with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next renewal.

Taxes may be added where applicable. Users without an active subscription retain viewing access to previously created Scroll Worlds subject to a reduced monthly view allowance, but may not create new ones.

8. Intellectual Property of the Service

The Service, including its software, design, brand, templates, and documentation, is owned by KB Lynx Pte Ltd or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, scrape, or create derivative works of the Service, or use the Service to build a competing product.

9. Copyright Complaints

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to hello@kb-lynx.com including: identification of the work, the URL/slug of the allegedly infringing Scroll World, your contact details, a good-faith statement, a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury, and your physical or electronic signature. We will remove or disable access to material in appropriate circumstances and may terminate repeat infringers.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service depends on third-party providers, including AI model, video generation, voice synthesis, payment, email, and hosting providers. We are not responsible for their acts or omissions, and Service features may change if provider capabilities, pricing, or policies change. Your content is processed by these providers solely to deliver the Service, as detailed in the Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE AND ALL OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY. AI-GENERATED OUTPUT MAY BE INACCURATE, INCOMPLETE, OR UNSUITABLE; YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING OUTPUT BEFORE RELYING ON IT OR SHARING IT WITH ANY AUDIENCE, INCLUDING CHILDREN OR STUDENTS. SCROLL WORLD IS A CREATIVE TOOL AND DOES NOT PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL, EDUCATIONAL-CURRICULUM, MEDICAL, LEGAL, OR FINANCIAL ADVICE.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KB Lynx Pte Ltd AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS IN ANY 12-MONTH PERIOD SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THAT PERIOD, OR USD 100 IF YOU HAVE PAID NOTHING. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED BY LAW.

13. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold harmless KB Lynx Pte Ltd from claims, damages, and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from your Input, your use or distribution of Output, your violation of these Terms or the Ethics & Acceptable Use Policy, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

14. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access, or remove content, if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users; where practicable we will give notice. Upon termination, your Scroll Worlds cease to be publicly available, and we may delete your content after a reasonable retention period, subject to the Privacy Policy. Sections 4 (license to operate, your warranties), 8, 11, 12, 13, and 16 survive termination.

15. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify the Service and these Terms. For material changes we will notify you (for example by email or in-product notice) and require re-acceptance at your next sign-in; the updated version and effective date will be shown on this page. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore, except that either party may seek injunctive relief for intellectual property misuse in any competent court. 17. Miscellaneous

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Ethics & Acceptable Use Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
